In 2016 Stuart and I embarked on the establishment of a charitable foundation. We had reached a time in our lives when our income was sufficient for our needs and we felt any excess could be put into a charitable foundation and used to enhance areas of Cornwall in general and Newquay, Cubert, Crantock and Holywell Bay in particular. We chose these areas as they all have great meaning to both of us, Newquay is where we established a successful surfing business that gave us a good life style, we felt it was time to give something back.

It took 3 years to get the Foundation up and running we were given our charitable status in May 2019. The aim of the charity is to improve public amenities, enhancement of open spaces as recreational facilities for the general public. Protection or conservation of the environment. The provision of public works of art specifically for educational purposes and art that reflects the heritage of the area. Support will be given from time to time, funds allowing, to other charities that have the same objective.
